The Knox County Fair not only highlights the awareness of agriculture as an important and continuing industry in the count, but also provides visitors with a unique family experience.
No visit to the Knox County Fair would be complete
without walking through the Junior Fair buildings. It is here you will witness the culmination of projects completed by the county’s youth involved in 4-H, FFA, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Everything from woodworking and sewing projects to animals of all sizes are on display.
From the time guests pull through the gates, the sights, sounds and smells of the Fair waft through the open windows inviting guests to explore all the excitement.

Lonestar to Perform Friday Night!
Country music group Lonestar will be the headline entertainer at the 2009 Knox County Fair. Lonestar will perform on Friday, July 31, at 8 pm.
Lonestar, one of country music's top bands, have amassed a total of 27 singles on the country charts, with nine of those singles reaching Number One. Their biggest hit was 1999's "Amazed", a crossover hit that reached Number One on both the country charts and the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the first single to do so since Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's "Islands in the Stream" in 1983.
